How EngageRM supports grassroots athletes with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund

EngageRM's ongoing partnership with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF) has expanded nationally in 2022, opening scholarships to students across Australia rather than just Victoria.

Around one in ten athletes selected to represent their state face financial barriers to competing; SESF scholarship recipients also receive mentoring from Olympians including Mack Horton, Brooke Stratton and Bec Henderson. Over five months, EngageRM built a new application portal for the fund, consolidating a previously multi-system process into one place.

"Everyone who works at the SESF are grateful for the time and energy that the team at EngageRM have put in to getting this portal up and running," said SESF Executive Director Nick Mooney.

EngageRM CEO Ned Coten, a former professional basketballer, said supporting athletes through their junior years is something the whole team takes real pride in.
